Every person in a Church is a minister. All people are needed to fulfill its
mission using team work through the sharing of their time, talents and monetary gifts. Many people work
behind the scenes in a Church and we are thankful for each person.
Leadership within Fillmore Christian as of the 17th of January,
2010 has been officially defined through the approval by the congregation of the Constitution/By-Laws.
LEADERSHIP WITHIN THE CHURCH
The people of Fillmore Christian Church as a Congregation have the ultimate authority for Leadership
within the Church. The day to day management of FCC is accomplished through the Leadership Team which is made up of
the following Leadership Groups and persons within those groups. These Groups and persons are elected
for a term of 1 year:
1. Elders: Wakefield Hare, Andy Barnes, John Minor and Ted H. Welch Sr.
2. Deacons/Deaconesses: John Barnes, Nancy Hare, Brenda Barnes, Carol Minor
3. Trustees: Nancy Hare, Joe Wheeler, Andy Barnes
4. Treasurer: Wakefield Hare
5. Secretary: Brenda Barnes
The above individuals make up the Leadership Team which acts on behalf of the congregation.
They meet at a minimum of every other month to
discuss and guide the Church affairs as is needed. As a Leadership Team they keep the members informed and,
as needed bring items to their attention for a decision.

OUR PASTOR
Ted and Jan moved to Savannah, Missouri in September of 2009 after he accepted
the call to serve Fillmore Christian Church as their Pastor. Originally, they are from Boone, Iowa.
They feel very blessed to be ministering in the Fillmore area!
They have six children, 20 Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren. Ted enjoys photography
and fishing while Jan likes to read and sew but both of them like to collect antiques and travel.
